Tim Smith is the founder of All About the Future. His company provides consulting services in sustainable development and business development to help for-profit and non-profit organizations reinvent the way we all live and work together, so that future generations have better opportunities and a healthier planet.

Prior to establishing All About the Future, Tim managed fashion apparel startups and, later on, held senior management positions at Fortune 500 companies in the areas of business development, sustainable development, product marketing, strategic planning, market research, fashion apparel buyer, and fashion jeans division manager. His responsibilities included designing and implementing marketing strategies, conducting due diligence analysis on competitors, developing strategic partnerships, negotiating contracts, and advising the executive committee on key initiatives to improve profitability and competitive positioning.

Tim was an honors art student in high school and studied art education in college prior to shifting into business management and applying his creativity to business innovation and intrapreneurship. Artistic creation continues to be his avocation and a stimulating mode of expressing ideas visually.

Tim graduated with honors from Saint Mary’s College of California and received Saint Mary's Distinguished Project Award. Tim completed the first executive program in sustainable management at the Presidio Graduate School.

Tim serves as a judge for the Business Environmental Awards sponsored by Acterra: Action for a Healthy Planet. He has also been a guest speaker on sustainability and green business initiatives at numerous conferences and universities.
