Vincenzo Trincia is driven by the pursuit of great design at the intersection of physical and digital experiences. He is an architect, interaction designer, urban designer, strategist with an entrepreneurial spirit.
He is currently the VP of Design and Communications at Building Robotics, an early stage startup in Oakland focused on software for commercial buildings.
For seven years he was an interaction and environments designer and project leader at IDEO, a human-centered design and innovation consultancy, taking his expertise as an architect and applying it to the design of digital interactions and environments.
His clients include Microsoft, the American Red Cross, Bank of America, State Farm Next Door, Samsung Mobile, Jumeirah Hotels, and the Stanford d.School.
More recently, he has been collaborating with many San Francisco Bay Area interaction designers, developers, and urbanists to activate public spaces by creating tactical architectural installations with integrated social-media experiences.
In his spare time you can find him laser-cutting, playing the synthesizer, designing computer accessories with his brother, Nick, and immersing himself in the chaos of city life.
