At this point, students have chosen to devote themselves to Illustration as a major - therefore starting now, students will begin to be treated as working illustrators. This course will focus on learning to communicate visions and ideas clearly and effectively. Projects are assigned weekly, with tight restrictions and specific guidelines. There will also be a few technique and technical demos by the instructor as well as visiting professional illustrators. Illustration is about the communication of ideas, and it is also about the presentation of ideas: presentation meaning craftsmanship and presentation meaning ascetic enjoyment.
