A complete application to the 2016 Pre-College Program includes the following requirements:
- Official high school transcripts
- Application fee ($35 nonrefundable)
- Tuition deposit ($200 nonrefundable)
- Housing deposit ($100 nonrefundable) Only for students who are interested in on-campus housing.
The following students have additional application requirements:
We encourage all applicants to apply online using the CCA online application. Alternatively, you may download the printable application form (PDF) and remit via fax, mail, or in person.
Please apply using an email address that you check regularly, as all communication from the program, including studio placements, scholarship decisions, and registration confirmation, will be sent via email.
Application fee, tuition and housing deposits, and required signatures for Pre-College are all submitted by mail, fax, or delivered in person using our Application Payment Form and Billing Worksheet. Please print and return this form to our office upon submission of your application.
You will receive a confirmation email once your online application has been received and processed (this can take up to two business days).
Completed applications are processed and reviewed in a first-come, first-served basis. An application will not be reviewed until all materials, including transcripts, application fee, and deposits, are received. You will be notified of studio and housing placement within two weeks of receiving your complete application.
Early application is recommended. Because space in each studio is limited, we cannot guarantee placement in your first choice. In the event that your first choice is full, you will be waitlisted and placed in the next available studio selection. You will be notified immediately if space becomes available in a studio for which you are waitlisted.
Official, sealed transcripts from your high school may be sent with your deposit or be sent from the school directly to CCA's Pre-College Office.
Transcript must include grades from fall 2015.
All transcripts must be in English or accompanied by a certified English translation of the original.
Home-schooled applicants should submit detailed syllabi of courses (equivalent to grades 9–12) and details of curriculum you are pursuing through any public or private agency (including community college transcripts, if applicable).
Scholarship Deadline: March 14
Students applying for scholarships must submit their completed applications and all scholarship materials postmarked by March 14. Applications postmarked after this date will not be eligible for scholarships. Award notifications will be sent via email by April 18.
All materials being mailed should be sent to:
