Application submission begins.
Postmarked March 10
Priority Application Deadline. Applications postmarked on or before March 10 will receive first consideration for program selection and housing. Every effort will be made to place you in your first (or second) studio selection; meeting the priority deadline, however, does not guarantee placement due to class size limitations and the popularity of some studios.
Note: After March 10, 2014, rolling admissions begins for non-scholarship applicants, which means applications are considered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Postmarked March 21
Scholarship Application Deadline. All scholarship materials are due at this time, including official high school transcripts and necessary deposits.
Note: Applications postmarked after March 21 will not be considered for scholarships.
Notification. For all applicants who met the March 10 priority deadline and the March 21 scholarship deadline, notification of admission, studio selection, housing and scholarship decisions will be mailed.
Postmarked May 16
Tuition Balance Due. All necessary supplies are included in the price of tuition. After May 16, any application submitted must include tuition, fees and housing payments, if applicable, paid in full.
You may pay by check (payable to California College of the Arts), Visa, American Express, Discover or MasterCard. Failure to pay your tuition in full by the deadline could lead to forfeiture of your studio selection and possibly your place in the program. A late fee of $100 will be charged if the balance is not received by the deadline.
Postmarked May 16
Housing Balance Due. The housing fee balance and the damage deposit are due by May 16 or two weeks after your acceptance date, whichever is later. After May 16, any housing request submitted must include housing fee and damage deposit paid in full.
You may pay by check (payable to California College of the Arts), Visa, American Express, Discover or MasterCard. Failure to pay the housing fee in full by the deadline will lead to the forfeiture of your housing reservation.
