WRLIT-202

Writing 2 continues the work begun in Writing 1 on strengthening students' ability to write, read and discuss at the college level, with emphasis on literary and visual analysis, and research and argumentation skills. The course will revolve around a specific theme selected by the instructor.

We will be looking at how writers and filmmakers portray the concept of evil, whether through character, or institutional embodiment. We will discuss theological origins of this concept and them move on to various social constructs and the more modern blurred lines between "illness" and "evil". Themanners by which evil can become contagious will also analyzed in our class.
