Diversity Scholarships

Diversity scholarships are awarded to qualified undergraduate and graduate admissions applicants who bring diverse experiences, ideas, and creative work to the CCA community.

Awards are based on a thorough review of the student's application, essay (including additional essay topics), and portfolio.

The scholarships, in combination with other CCA scholarships, federal and state grants, can cover up to the full tuition for the 2014-15 academic year. The scholarships may be renewed for four years of full-time enrollment if the recipient maintains good academic standing.

Eligibility & Criteria

Awards are based on a thorough review of the student's application, essay (including additional essay topics), and portfolio.

The following criteria will be considered in the scholarship review: students from educationally disadvantaged families who have demonstrated academic and artistic achievement, students with demonstrated leadership in service to the community, and students whose work focuses on social or cultural issues.

Application

Prospective undergraduate and graduate students must complete all application requirements. Prospective undergraduate students must also have completed their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Priority will be given to applicants who submit their admissions application and, if required, their FAFSA by February 1.
