Community Engagement in the Bay Area

Coordinated by the Center for Art and Public Life, ENGAGE at CCA courses (and sponsored studios) place students at the center of project-based learning with a focus on community engagement.

With its more than 25,000 nonprofits, the San Francisco Bay Area is the ideal location for an initiative like ENGAGE at CCA. Surrounding our campuses are neighborhoods and cities alive with international cultures.

The ENGAGE at CCA curriculum is all about making art that matters by placing you within these communities where you will build creative partnerships and see change as it happens.
