Timothy Morton is a professor of English at UC Davis, teaching literature and ecology, Romantic-period literature, and literary theory. He is the author of The Ecological Thought and Ecology Without Nature as well as seven other books and more than 70 essays. His interests range from literature and the environment to ecotheory, philosophy, biology, the physical sciences, literary theory, food studies, sound and music, materialism, poetics, Romanticism, Buddhism, and the 18th century.
