This lecture (and the reception following, at 8:30 p.m.) are associated with the Some Work Exhibition of Bob Aufuldish's work taking place September 13-22 in the Nave. Aufuldish is presenting a selection of his work in celebration of his promotion to full professor and his election to the Alliance Graphique Internationale.

About Bob Aufuldish

Bob Aufuldish is a partner in the design firm Aufuldish & Warinner and a faculty member at CCA, where he teaches graphic design, typography, and new media. Also at CCA he is the design director of Sputnik, a student-staffed design team producing work for the college.

He has designed projects for clients ranging from Chronicle Books to Warner Bros. Records and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. His work has appeared in a number of exhibitions, and he has lectured about his work at numerous venues around the United States.

He launched FontBoy, his digital type foundry, in 1995. He holds a BFA and an MFA in graphic design from Kent State University.
