iLOUNGE: instant/interim/interactive is a flexible community gathering place that supports the occupation of the human body in different ways: lounging, standing, resting, socializing, playing, observing, and being observed.
The modular architectural system was designed to enable temporary community for a minute, an hour, or an evening, and can be configured into different aggregations to support different uses. It was so popular at the Northern Spark Festival and the ZERO1 Biennial that we’ve brought it back.
From January 16 to March 23, the iLounge “playground” fills the expanded ZERO1 Garage lounge area, where a team of architects, designers, and artists will present a program of indoor interventions and activations.
