Magic School Bus is a response to PLAySPACE's Lost + Found program series and uses CCA's intercampus shuttles as a venue for screening video works of MFA students.
The buses as an exhibition site address the theme of Lost + Found in that they are unexpected locations to encounter works of art. The buses themselves transport people from location to location, and the viewer is almost forced into this encounter with these video works.
The videos will be screened for one week on all intercampus shuttles beginning the week of Nov. 13, so find a reason to cross the Bay Bridge for free and see the work of these interdisciplinary artists in this unusual format.
(Note: Priority access to CCA's campus shuttle is given first to current students, then to staff and faculty.)
PLAySPACE, The Paulette Long and Shepard Pollack Art Community Experiment, is a graduate student-run exhibition program. It provides the resources for student curators to conceptualize and present programming that is especially appropriate for, and oriented towards, the academic community. This programming is presented in various venues and locations throughout the community.
