John Searles is the author of the best-selling novels Strange But True and Boy Still Missing. His third novel will be published by HarperCollins in fall 2013. Searles appears regularly as a book critic on NBC’s Today Show, where he has interviewed authors and TV personalities such as Dennis Lehane, Ina Garten, Andy Cohen, and many others.

Searles is also the editor-at-large of Cosmopolitan. His essays have been appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Daily Beast and other national publications. He lives in New York.
