Julie Carr is the author of five books of poetry, most recently 100 Notes on Violence, Sarah-Of Fragments and LInes, and the forthcoming RAG (Omnidawn 2014).
She's also the author of Surface Tension: Ruptural Time and the Poetics of Desire in Late Victorian Poetry (Dalkey 2013).
She was an NEA fellow from 2011-12. Her poems and essays have been published widely in journals and anthologies.
With Tim Roberts she is the copublisher of Counterpath Press and coproprietor of Counterpath, a bookstore/gallery/performance space in Denver.
She teaches in the MFA writing program at the University of Colorado.
