Presented by PLAySPACE and curated by Post Meridiem (PMx), Self(ie) Representation is an exhibition that interrogates the ways in which social media shapes how people perceive other people.

This exhibition focuses on artists who use social media, such as Facebook and Instagram, to explore the notion of "self" both online and then re/deactivated through photography, video, and performance.

PLAySPACE, The Paulette Long and Shepard Pollack Art Community Experiment, is a graduate student-run exhibition program. It provides the resources for student curators to conceptualize and present programming that is especially appropriate for, and oriented towards, the academic community. This programming is presented in various venues and locations throughout the community.
