Present Tense represents Printmaking Program Professor Emeritus Nance O’Banion’s work over the last 18 months, and is composed of over 650 drawings and 11 books documenting this most recent phase of her unique and introspective journey.

Yet the work, although deliberately personal, is at the same time universal. Many viewers are surprised to encounter images that strike a deep archetypal chord  and resonate strongly with their own experiences, fears, and aspirations.
