Cinema Rendezvous Presents: The Harvesters

Join us for a new Cinema Rendezvous featuring CCA Alumnus (Film/Video 1997) and current Film Faculty Etienne Kallos' new feature film, THE HARVESTERS.
Kallos is a an award-winning Greek-South African filmmaker. His short films have screened at numerous festivals, including Cannes (2006), Berlin (2006), Sundance (2007), Telluride (2009), and Venice (2009), where his work was the first Africaans-language film to win the Corto Cortissimo Lion Award. He frames much of his work around his unique perspective as a Greek from South Africa, as well as the exploration of sexuality and masculine identity. The Harvesters is his first feature-length narrative film, which he both wrote and directed.
