Coinciding with the exhibition ILLUSTRATING RESISTANCEhosted by the California College of the Arts Illustration Program and the CCA Alumni Association, this day promises to be engaging, challenging, and inspiring for both continuing (and returning) students and faculty. We can’t wait to see you on the 20th!

We hope you will join us in welcoming our scheduled presenters:

10-11 a.m.
Ajuan Mance: artist, author, and professor. She is the creator of the portrait series 1001 Black Men, a project which took her six years to complete.

11:10-11:45 a.m.
Roman Muradov: author and illustrator. His book “On Doing Nothing: Finding Inspiration in Idleness” hits shelves in April 2018.

Noon-1 p.m.
George McCalman: artist, designer, and illustrator. His work illustrating the Bay Area community, “Observed”, can be found in the pages of the SF Chronicle.

1-2 p.m.
LUNCH: BRING A BAG LUNCH
Snacks & drinks will be provided throughout the day

2-3 p.m.
Adobe Photoshop Creative Team: members of the team will show off wonderful additions to their software.

3:15-5:15 p.m.
Brian McMullen: artist and writer who lives and works in Bayview, San Francisco. He was the lead art director and a senior editor at McSweeney's for many years. Brian will be doing an extended demonstration of CCA’s beloved Risograph Machine.
