Jules de Balincourt (BFA Ceramics and Painting 1998) received his undergraduate degree from CCA and holds an MFA from Hunter College, New York. He frequently uses stencils, tape, knives, and spray paint in the creation of his work.

He has exhibited at numerous prominent international galleries and museums, including the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris and Palais de Tokyo in Paris, and he has been featured in several high-profile exhibitions, including Greater New York at P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center and the Museum of Modern Art, New York; and USA Today at the Royal Academy in London. He lives and works in Brooklyn and is represented by Zach Feuer Gallery in New York.
