FILM SCREENING SPOTLIGHT: DOMINIQUE SEWARD

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT #1: DOMINIQUE SEWARD
Screening at DOUBLE EXPOSURE - CCA Film Final Screening
Thursday MAY 8, 7PM, Timken Lecture Hall

Graduating senior Dominique Seward will present TWO works at the show this thursday night - a live performance (The Dom Seward II Archives) and a short from her upcoming feature Victor.

Dominique’s work at CCA has focused on social and humanitarian issues including racial profiling, sexual abuse, and the stigma of severe illness. She hopes to one day return to Miami to open a film school for inner-city youth.

Victor is inspired by Mary Shelley’s FRANKENSTEIN, and asks us to question what lay behind  Victor Frankenstein himself.  As she states in the film’s description, “Victor Frankenstein is his most prized possession.”.
