The Oregonian: Portland Art Museum's new NW art curator: 'I'm an ally to artists'

A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and California College of the Arts in San Francisco, Kook-Anderson will oversee the museum's Northwest Art collection and produce exhibitions showcasing Northwest art and artists. Her responsibilities will also include organizing the museum's biennial Contemporary Northwest Art Awards, which recognize the work of professional contemporary artists living and working in the greater Northwest (Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Wyoming and Montana).
