Assistant Professor in Architecture at CCA Clark Thenhaus is the winner of the 2017 A/N Best Public Landscape award for his work Confetti Urbanism in CCA’s Back Lot.  The work shapes the vast outdoor space of the Lot with painted discs, ribbons, and bands that cue visitors to move, stand and look in particular ways.

It also ties together the current exhibition designed by Thenhaus, Designing Material Innovation, which is on view in the Back Lot through December 22. See a review of the show by ARCHITECT Magazine here.

If you haven’t seen it already, make sure to check out the exhibition before the holidays!
