CCA would not be the outstanding place it is today without The Fund for CCA and the generous support of its parents, friends, and alumni.
One Alumna's Reasons for Giving Back
Another academic year is in full swing at CCA, and the excitement and energy of our students is contagious! Seeing them on their bikes, with their satchels and supplies, takes me back 20 years to when I came to the college.
At that time, I remember feeling I'd found a special community, one that values creative work and the talent in young people.
CCA welcomed me. Faculty mentors inspired me to think seriously and deeply about my work. Sometimes my fellow students were the greatest source of inspiration. It was a privilege to spend my days within this dedicated community of makers and thinkers.
Thanks in large part to the foundation I received at CCA, I have a successful career with my work exhibited in museums and represented through the Nancy Hoffman Gallery in New York.
Now I want to give back. I teach a CCA course on business practices for artists, volunteer through the alumni/student mentorship program, and host alumni networking events.
I am also proud to be a CCA donor! Please join me in helping to sustain the CCA community and programs we value by making a tax-deductible donation to the Fund for CCA. This fund is not a luxury but rather an essential source of revenue that helps pay for the studio and classroom resources central to a CCA education.
You may direct your support to a specific department, faculty resources, facilities and equipment or allow CCA to use it wherever it is needed most.
See Ways to Give to learn how to make a donation. If you have any questions, please contact Emma Sonduck in CCA's Advancement Office at 510.594.3787, or at firstname.lastname@example.org. She will be happy to help you.
I will always be grateful for getting my start at CCA. It is a privilege to help the young women and men who are beginning and continuing their educations today.
