Learning Resources
CCA’s Learning Resource Center (LRC) is located in Irwin Hall (room 213) on the Oakland campus and in the Student Affairs Office at 80 Carolina on the San Francisco campus. The LRC offers free individual coaching and workshops on time management and study skills. The service is intended to supplement—not replace—classroom instruction.

Learning Resource Center Coaching
CCA coaches are available on both campuses to provide any enrolled student with individual assistance with assignments. Most coaches are drawn from CCA’s graduate programs. They are selected for their expertise and interest in teaching.
Writing coaches can help with a wide range of writing assignments, from an artist statement to a graduate thesis. Visual Studies coaches can support individuals or small groups of students enrolled in Visual Studies courses.
The LRC also offers software coaching for a limited number of programs used in courses at CCA.
To better understand the wealth of benefits coaching offers, see About Coaching to read an overview that explains how coaching may help you achieve academic success. Or, if you're ready to contact the LRC, see Getting Started.
