CCA's Illustration Program has given rise to many award-winning illustrators among its students, faculty, and alumni.
Just in the last five years alone, an impressive array of CCA illustrators have been recognized and honored in national illustration competitions.

Society of Illustrators Student Scholarship Competition
Over a hundred works are chosen from more than 5,000 entries submitted by professors of college-level students nationwide. Being selected in this competition is a enormous honor and can help propel budding careers forward.
The jury of professionals, including illustrators and art directors, selects the most outstanding works based on quality of technique, concept, and skill of medium used.
About 25 of the winning entries are also awarded a scholarship, which are given out at the opening reception of the Student Scholarship Exhibition, held in the gallery of the Museum of American Illustration at the New York Society of Illustrators.

Society of Illustrators Annual Competition
The New York Society of Illustrators Annual Exhibition recognizes the top achievements within the field of Illustration, featuring over 400 pieces from artists worldwide.
Thousands of entries are considered by a jury of professionals, which includes renowned illustrators, art directors, and designers. Original artworks are exhibited at the Museum of American Illustration at the New York Society of Illustrators.
All winning entries are reproduced in book format, printed annually.

American Illustration Annual Competition
The American Illustration annual competition has a reputation of representing the most cutting-edge artwork in today's print and digital media.
A panel of art and design professionals juries the more than 8,000 entries and selects several hundreds of artworks to be reproduced in a beautifully designed volume.
