Jessamyn Violet Cuneo
Fine Arts, Writing, Film, Photography, Social Media, and Publishing
"As a multimedia artist, I have gotten two novels published, Venice Peach (Maudlin House, 2025) and Secret Rules to Being a Rockstar (Three Rooms Press, 2023) as well as a poetry book Organ Thieves published by Gauss PDF (2017) and a short fiction chapbook, JAYNE PAYNE, out through Bone Machine (2025). As a working musician, my band Movie Club was founded in 2018 and has released seven internationally-acclaimed studio albums and eight music videos. I currently freelance in PR and Marketing for authors and musicians, with a lot of experience in social media, branding, and live events. I worked in production for TV and film for over 10 years, and am well-versed in producing, directing and editing video content. I enjoy helping artists build their public digital media house and help coach them in expanding and marketing their work to reach new audiences around the globe."

Alexandra Waterson
Architect and Interior Design
"Having successfully designed and built numerous single-family homes and renovations, I have begun to recognize the limitations of standard lots and the resulting urban isolation. This experience fuels my push for strategic change in this sector. My philosophy integrates efficiency and data-informed decisions into context-driven design for all scales. This process allows me to focus my research on community-focused designs at both individual lots and the urban scale. I create tangible residential spaces—defined by light, materials, and texture—that bring neighbors and generations together, ultimately connecting and empowering people while fostering healthy, happy lives."

Wilson Wu
Designer, Interaction Design, and Industrial Design
"My practice sits at the intersection of hardware, software, and systems thinking. Currently leading future interactivity innovations on TV for YouTube, and previously at Verily (the Life Sciences bet formerly under Google X), I specialize in 0-to-1 incubation for unconventional touchpoints. I encourage students to look beyond surface artifacts to understand the whole dynamic system. As an advisor, I guide emerging designers to rigorously explore the connection between digital interfaces, physical environments, and user mental models, while also helping international talent navigate the industry's hidden curriculum."

Maya Joseph-Goteiner
Design Strategy MBA
"With a circuitous career shaped by curiosity and impact, I’ve never been afraid of change. Taking risks has become my M.O. (mode of operation), from starting an e-commerce business in 2010 when I knew nothing about business to pivoting into UX Research without the expected PhD. Those leaps taught me that passion creates momentum and that being unconventional can be positioned as a differentiator.
As an advisor, I help students envision futures that account for both their constraints and their ideals. I’m eager to support CCA students through a shifting job market, especially in crafting personal narratives that celebrate what sets them apart. Through inquiry-driven coaching, I push students to clarify what matters most. My style is earnest, energetic, and optimistic. At the end of the day, you are the founder of your career and like any great venture, it grows through thoughtful, iterative choices."

House in El Zonte aimed to host large scale projects and educational programming that have connections to SF.
Joyce Grimm
Art and Design, Community Engagement, and Interaction
"I approach my IPA role much like I did when I was an educator at CCA back in 2011. I’m engaged as much as possible so that I help students facilitate action-oriented goals. Once their pursuits are clear, I can assist them in making solid connections in the real world. The last 5 years have really taken a toll on us all. Currently, my curatorial work involves engagement and social practices. My partner and I have been finishing our house in El Zonte where I hope to host large scale projects and educational programming with connections to SF."
