The 2024 MFA Fine Arts exhibition

Each year, graduating CCA MFA Fine Arts students showcase their cutting-edge work. This year we staged a two-part exhibition at the internationally acclaimed CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts.

The 2024 MFA Fine Arts exhibition features work across multiple mediums, including painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, video, textiles, and print. It was organized by Glen Helfand, CCA Chair of Graduate Curatorial Practice; Aaron Gach, Graduate Faculty and Exhibition Coordinator; Susanne Cockrell, MFA Fine Arts Chair; and Robin Beard, Head of Installation and Exhibition Design at the CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts

A publication in memory of Peter Simensky

Students have created Crescendo, a fully illustrated publication featuring works by the entire cohort. The book is a tangible manifestation of the students’ collective reverence and appreciation for Simensky’s contributions. These graduating artists offer their work as an expression of life and a bridge to the future, embodying a creative spirit that pays tribute to Simensky’s memory.
