MFA Fine Arts Thesis 2025

Each year, graduating CCA MFA Fine Arts students showcase their cutting-edge work. This year, the exhibition is being hosted at the Deborah and Kenneth Novack Gallery and CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts.

The 2025 MFA Fine Arts exhibition showcases work across painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, video, textiles, and print.

Organized by Glen Helfand, associate professor of Graduate Fine Arts, and Aaron Gach, senior adjunct professor of Graduate Fine Arts, the exhibition is made possible with the support of Sunny A. Smith, dean of Fine Arts; Susanne Cockrell, chair of Graduate Fine Arts; Jaime Austin, director of Exhibitions and Public Programming; Daisy Nam, director and chief curator of the CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts; Ingrid Wells, assistant director of Academic Administration, Fine Arts; and the Curricular Programming and Operations Team, Academic Affairs. Special thanks to Manuel Angeja, installation manager of Exhibitions and Public Programming, and Robin Beard, head of installation and exhibition design at the CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts, for their expertise and thoughtful contributions in making this exhibition a success.
