Mailchimp report combiner tool
A little helpful processing tool to circumvent Mailchimp's cost-prohibitive reporting features.
Overview
Why? What is this?
Here at CCA, we use MailChimp for certain projects. We often need to report on this data, but unfortunately, MC makes it hard to download a comprehensive report unless you pay for additional features. Not only do they limit access to a unified report, but they also format individual reports in a way that can't easily be merged. This tool is used to help CCA staff quickly bulk process individual reports into a CSV file that can be easily appended to an existing Google sheets or other spreadsheet format.
How? Where do I go again?
- Go to mailchimp.com > reports > download all the relevant reports for your project
- Drag and drop all the files into the area below
- Download your newly created csv file!
- Use this file in an existing spreadsheet by going file > import > append to current sheet
