Tuition & Fees Schedule

CCA is a private, nonprofit institution that relies on tuition revenue to operate. Consequently, it is essential for students to register and pay tuition on time.

A significant portion of CCA's operating budget is allocated to scholarships that assist students' financial needs.

CCA reserves the right to withhold issuing degrees, certificates, transcripts, grade reports and statements of recommendation to or on behalf of any student whose financial account with the college remains unpaid, in full or in part.

Students with delinquent financial accounts are subject to having all registration privileges revoked, and failure to pay tuition and other charges can result in their removal from their registered classes.

Note: Students are liable for all costs and legal fees incurred in the collection process of delinquent accounts.

The following is a listing of tuition and fees for the 2016-17 academic year. (Note: All amounts are subject to change without notice.)

Undergraduate Tuition

Full-Time Students (12–18 units)
$22,488 per term + $1,874 per unit over 18

Part-Time Students (fewer than 12 units)
$1,874 per unit

Graduate Tuition

MFA in Comics (summer 2016):  $1,214 per unit
MFA in Comics (fall 2016 & spring 2017):  $1,263 per unit
All other students: $1,578 per unit

Nonrefundable Fees

Undergraduate application fee: $60
Graduate application fee: $70
Undergraduate tuition deposit: $185 (applied to tuition charges)
Graduate tuition deposit: $385 (applied to tuition charges)
Registration fee: $115 per term
Re-registration fee: $115 per term
Late-registration fee: $200
Health insurance fee: $1,037.50 (fall 2016); $1,722.17 (spring 2017); $425.38 (summer 2016: MFA in Comics students only)
Student activity fee: $75 per term
Graduation fee: $100
Meal Card (Students in First Year Residence - Charged in Fall only): $250
Housing application fee: $100
