CCA's coaching program consists of individual academic coaching, software coaching, and organizational assistance such as time management and study skills.
These services are designed to improve students’ educational experience by supplementing the learning experience -- not replacing -- classroom instruction.
Coaching and workshops are free for current students and recent alumni. They are held on both campuses:
Oakland campus (Irwin Hall, room 213)
San Francisco campus (Student Affairs Office, 80 Carolina)

Coaching provides a supportive educational experience for students that supplements classroom instruction.
Working closely with students and faculty, the LRC coaches provide a strong foundation for students to improve critical thinking skills and writing, so faculty can focus on curriculum.
The mission of the CCA Learning Resource Center is to support the learning process of the CCA academic community.
We believe individual attention and guided inquiry from competent and sympathetic coaches will nurture students’ confidence, develop their ideas, and improve their competence in writing.
